CSOR 2015 Summer Series

After much deliberation the summer series schedule has been sorted out. Dates are as follows:

Round 1 26th April 2015 (incorporating our NRS Round)
Round 2 17th May 2015
Round 3 14th June 2015
Round 4 5th July 2015
Round 5 26th July 2015
Round 6 2nd August 2015 cancelled
Round 7 23rd August 2015 cancelled
Round 8 20th September 2015
Round 6 6th September 2015 re-run
Round 7 4th October 2015 re-run

Championships will be run for Clubman Buggies, Clubman Truggies and Rookies.

Race format will run as with most other clubs. 4 x 5 minute heats, with best heat times used for sorting out final places. Finals provisionally based on 20 minutes. If numbers permit the plan would be to use grid starts, also the possibility of bump ups into higher finals if we have enough for multiple finals.

1 point will be given for TQ, 100 points for the race win, 99 for 2nd place and so on.

Best 5 of the 7 results will be used for final series position.

This is a great year for the club and we are really looking forward to this seasons championship and to all the Regional and National events that we are participating in.

CSOR Winter Series 2014/15 Round 4 25/1/15

Not even had time to get over the festive frolicks and round 4 is nearly upon us.

Will the new HB D8T Ty edition make an appearance at this round after its Festival showing?
Will the S-Works truggy being banded about on pusbook grace our track, if so will it be able to show its sister buggy how to hold onto its screws?
Will Dean ever make an appearance at the track? Once upon a time he was taking on all comers, now his name is assigned to folklore. Rumor has it hes hiding in the woods driving tonka trucks over twigs.
Will the D812’s rear end finally be calmed or will it still go up the main straight like a trout in a burn?

Only way to find out is to get yourself booked in and see for yourself!

I will have a stack of membership forms with me so pick one up when you book in. I will also be able to take payment for said membership.

CSOR Winter Series Round 1 Results

Thanks to everyone that turned up today. Weather was lovely although wet under foot.

First time we have ran on wet astro for a while which took some getting use to but after a couple of heats everyone was just about managing to come to terms with the slippery track, if not the midges!

Well done to Jason for his TQ and to Dugie for his win.
